Job Summary
Travel Oncology RN for a 13-week assignment at a Springfield, IL facility. Provides specialized nursing care to oncology patients, including administering cancer treatments, managing side effects, and delivering education and support to patients and families. Works with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care while adhering to confidentiality, integrity, safety, and professional standards. Essential duties include administering prescribed therapies, patient education, maintaining oncology-specific equipment, documenting assessments and outcomes, monitoring patient comfort and safety, participating in quality improvement initiatives, and advocating for patients throughout treatment plans. Required: 1 year Oncology RN experience, current RN license, and BLS; preferred OC N certification and ACLS.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an Oncology RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
