Job Summary
Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) provides evidence-based therapeutic interventions to help patients develop, recover, and enhance independence in daily living. Delivers personalized therapy plans, conducts hands-on OT interventions, educates patients and families, collaborates with an interdisciplinary healthcare team, tracks progress with documentation, and participates in discharge planning for transitions to community or home-based settings. Requires state OT licensure and current BLS; NBCOT certification is preferred. 13-week travel assignment in Kenosha, WI with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits. Strong communication, critical thinking, and ability to work with diverse patient populations are essential; ability to perform physical tasks and use adaptive equipment as part of therapy delivery. Required Qualifications
- Valid Occupational Therapy license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
- OTR Certification (NBCOT) is preferred
- Master’s Degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
- Occupational Therapy Assistant experience welcomed for applicants who are New Grads
- Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position
