Job Summary
The Travel Occupational Therapist provides comprehensive, evidence-based therapeutic interventions to help patients develop, recover, and enhance daily living skills across diverse settings during a 13-week travel assignment in Petaluma, CA. Responsibilities include creating personalized therapy plans based on assessments, delivering hands-on OT interventions using adaptive techniques and assistive devices, educating patients and families on goals and strategies to improve independence in ADLs, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, tracking progress with regular evaluations, modifying treatment plans as needed, maintaining accurate documentation, and adhering to infection control, safety, and regulatory standards. The role emphasizes discharge planning and opportunities for professional development within a travel-capacity clinical team.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Occupational Therapy license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
- Master’s Degree or higher of Occupational Therapy
- OTR Certification (NBCOT)
- Occupational Therapy Assistant experience, but New Grads are welcome to apply
