Job Summary
Deliver individualized occupational therapy interventions and treatments based on patient assessments and evidence-based practices. Create personalized therapy plans tailored to patient goals, then educate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies to optimize functional independence in daily living activities. Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure coordinated care, track patient progress through regular evaluations, and modify treatment plans as needed. Maintain accurate documentation, adhere to infection control protocols, and engage in quality assurance initiatives to support smooth discharge planning and community transitions.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Occupational Therapy license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
- Must be able to move about
- Must be able to move equipment (50-100lbs)
- Must be able to push
- Must be able to pull
- Must be able to bend
- Must be able to work effectively with a variety of personnel (professional and ancillary)
- Must be able to present a positive attitude and professionalism
- Must have the ability to grasp

- Must have the ability to move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment
- Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers

- Must be able to contend with irregular activity schedules occasionally
- Must be able to maintain continuous concentration to detail
- Must possess visual acuity

- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions
- Ability to follow verbal instructions
- Proficiency in PC skills
Desired Qualifications
- Master's Degree or higher of Occupational Therapy
- OTR Certification (NBCOT)
- Occupational Therapy Assistant experience
