Job Summary
Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) provides evidence-based therapeutic interventions to help patients develop, recover, and enhance skills for independent daily living. Travel 13-week assignment in Petaluma, CA, delivering personalized OT treatment plans, hands-on therapy with adaptive techniques and assistive devices, and education for patients and families. Collaborates with an interdisciplinary healthcare team, tracks progress, documents outcomes in medical records, and adheres to infection control, safety, and regulatory standards. Responsibilities include evaluating patient needs, designing and delivering therapy, educating caregivers, and contributing to discharge planning and ongoing quality improvement. Requires active OT license and current BLS; Master’s degree preferred with potential NBCOT certification and additional licensure considerations.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Occupational Therapy license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
