Job Summary
Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) in a 13-week assignment at a facility in La Jara, Colorado. Provides comprehensive, evidence-based OT interventions to help patients develop, recover, and enhance daily living and functional skills. Responsibilities include creating personalized therapy plans, delivering hands-on therapies with adaptive techniques and assistive devices, educating patients and families, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, tracking progress and documenting in medical records, participating in discharge planning, and adhering to infection control and regulatory standards. Requires active OT license, current BLS, and English communication; certifications such as NBCOT (OTR) and advanced degrees are preferred. Required Qualifications
- Valid Occupational Therapy license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
- Master’s Degree or higher of Occupational Therapy (preferred)
- OTR Certification (NBCOT)
- Occupational Therapy Assistant experience, but New Grads are welcome to apply
- Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position
