Job Summary
Evaluate residents recovering from illness, injury, surgery, or physical limitations and implement individualized treatment plans in a skilled nursing setting. Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, establish measurable goals, provide therapeutic interventions, monitor progress, educate patients and families, and document services per facility and regulatory standards. Work closely with an interdisciplinary team of physicians, nursing staff, and rehabilitation professionals to help residents achieve functional independence. This 13-week, 40-hour assignment includes a competitive pay package with housing, medical, dental, and vision benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Occupational Therapist, Skilled
- 2 years
- OT-TN
- OTR-National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
- BLS-AHA
- 1 Reference in entire work history
Desired Qualifications
- graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
- active Tennessee Physical Therapy license (or be eligible for licensure)
