Travel Nursing ICU RN Contract

Job Summary
Acute RN in a contract role providing dialysis care within a hospital. Responsibilities include administering medications as ordered, patient education and follow-up, coordinating with physicians and nursing staff, ensuring accurate documentation and data submission, participating in infection control and quality metrics, preparing and maintaining dialysis machines, and supporting a team-oriented care approach. Requirements include current RN license, CPR certification, color screening, and proficiency with clinical applications; prior dialysis experience is preferred. The role involves hospital-based patient care and adherence to policy and procedures within regulatory guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in applicable state or compact
- 12 months or more current nursing experience preferred
- Previous experience in providing nursing care to patients on dialysis preferred
- CPR certification required with hospital approved program
- Ability to pass color screening
- Demonstrated working knowledge of the English language and ability to communicate verbally and in writing
- Must have basic computer skills; proficiency in all USRC clinical applications required within 90 days of hire
- Must meet any practice requirement(s) for the applicable state
- Ability to meet minimum hospital/agency hiring standards which may include additional background clearances and orientation requirements if applicable to the program assigned to for employment
