Job Summary
Travel Nursing ICU RN Contract role providing acute dialysis care in a hospital setting. Responsibilities include administering medications as ordered, patient education and follow-up, assisting with operational processes to improve patient health, ensuring accurate documentation of treatment and patient data, maintaining dialysis equipment and safe operation, infection control, and collaborating with physicians and healthcare professionals to achieve quality patient care. Requires current RN license, CPR certification, color vision, ability to meet state practice requirements, and proficiency with clinical applications. 12+ months nursing experience and dialysis care background preferred. Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in applicable state or compact
- 12 months or more current nursing experience preferred
- Previous experience in providing nursing care to patients on dialysis preferred
- CPR certification required with hospital approved program
- Ability to pass color screening
- Demonstrated working knowledge of the English language and ability to communicate verbally and in writing
- Must have basic computer skills; proficiency in all USRC clinical applications required within 90 days of hire
- Must meet any practice requirement(s) for the applicable state
- Ability to meet minimum hospital/agency hiring standards which may include additional background clearances and orientation requirements if applicable to the program assigned to for employment
