Job Summary
Provide comprehensive emergency care to adults, pediatrics, newborns, and geriatric patients across a 64-bed unit, managing high-acuity cases including stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, and cardiac arrest. Administer required drips and medications such as pressors, vasodilators, and sedatives while utilizing specialty equipment like the Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun. Maintain charge capability and float across units as needed during 12-hour shifts from 10:30 AM to 11 PM. Candidates must hold an active NY license, travel experience, and proficiency with EPIC EMR.
Required Qualifications
- Must live 75 Miles away from facility - TRAVEL
- WILL TAKE LOCALS - Local rate (less than 75 miles)
- Up to date resume that includes 2+ years of experience in ED with some PEDS experience
- documenting travel experience
- TRAVEL EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED
- Drivers licenses with address that matches demographics
- Current AHA ACLS
- BLS
- PALS
- NIHSS
- TNCC
- NURSYS Report Licenses verification with ACTIVE NY License
- RTO MUST be included at time of submission
- EMR Exp Required: EPIC
