Job Summary
Lead and support health promotion initiatives including well-baby and well-mom programs and immunization clinics; plan and deliver education programs to promote healthy living; work collaboratively in a team-based environment with expanded scope to provide comprehensive healthcare; apply advanced nursing skills in observation, assessment, diagnosis, counseling, and health teaching aligned with individualized care plans; ensure emotional, spiritual, and physical comfort and safety of clients; licensed nurse registered in good standing with willingness to obtain licensure in applicable provinces/territories; 6-week remote assignments in Canada’s remote northern communities under Bayshore HealthCare’s Northern Staffing Program; travel-sponsored opportunities with orientation, training, and ongoing support.
Required Qualifications
- graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
- nursing license through governing body in good standing
- licensed Nurse registered in good standing
- willing to obtain nursing license through provinces/territories
- mandatory work experience
- vaccination requirements may apply
