Job Summary
Lead and support health promotion initiatives in remote northern communities, including well-baby and well-mom programs, immunization clinics, and community wellness activities; plan and deliver education programs to promote healthy living (e.g., flu shot awareness); collaborate in a team-based environment to provide comprehensive healthcare services; apply advanced nursing skills in observation, assessment, diagnosis, counseling, and health teaching aligned with individualized care plans; ensure emotional, spiritual, and physical comfort and safety of clients within scope of practice; travel assignments with Bayshore’s Northern Staffing Program and ongoing orientation/training.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
- Nursing license through governing body in good standing
- Licensed Nurse registered in good standing
- Have or be willing to obtain a nursing license through the regulating body in the provinces or territories you wish to work
- Meet the required work experience
