Job Summary
Float Clinician role involving travel to multiple health centers (Redwood City base) to provide comprehensive reproductive health care including medical histories, physical exams, STI management, contraception, abortion services, gender-affirming care, and emergency care. Responsibilities include reviewing histories, performing screenings, ordering and interpreting labs, providing patient education, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring clinic productivity and quality benchmarks, and supporting staff. Travel clinicians receive a higher base hourly wage with travel differential and mileage reimbursement; initial robust training and ongoing professional development are provided. This is a full-time, outpatient travel position with eligibility for benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner (NP), Physician Assistant (PA), Women’s Health NP (WHNP), or Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) program
- Current, unrestricted California license
- Board Certification
- CPR/BLS certification (current or within 30 days of hire)
- Strong customer service mindset and ability to thrive in a team-based environment
- Basic computer proficiency (Windows-based systems)
