Job Summary
Travel RN – OR in Lorain, Ohio (13-week contract). Responsibilities include coordinating patient flow and communicating key clinical information during handoffs; administering medications and IV therapies; performing peri-procedural assessments; documenting care; and providing post-procedure education as directed by the care team. Work 40 hours per week with 10-hour shifts. Benefits include housing stipends, travel assistance, health/dental/vision coverage, 401(k) with employer match, weekly pay, and overtime pay (2x hourly rate) when applicable. Assignment details: contract length 13 weeks; guaranteed pay; travel support; housing stipend; start date ASAP; pay is based on shifts/hours and may include taxable and tax-free components.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of RN or OR nursing experience
- RN license or certification
- Operating Room experience
- Ability to coordinate patient flow and communicate clinical information during handoffs
- Administer medications and IV therapies as ordered
- Perform peri-procedural assessments
- Provide post-procedure education and reinforce care instructions
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years of RN/or OR nursing experience
- RN license or equivalent certification
- Operating Room experience
- Travel nursing experience (preferred)
- Contract/temporary assignment experience
- Ability to coordinate patient flow and communicate clinical information
- Administer medications and IV therapies
- Peri-procedural assessment experience
- Patient education delivery at discharge/hand-off
- Overtime availability and flexibility on schedule
