Job Summary
Assess resident health, monitor for changes, and implement personalized care plans in collaboration with the patient care team. Provide skilled procedures including wound care, IV therapy, and catheter management while supervising LPNs and CNAs. Respond quickly to emergencies, coordinate with physicians and therapists, and educate residents and families on medications and chronic conditions. Document care progress and adhere to infection control guidelines and regulatory standards. This 13-week travel assignment in New Britain, Connecticut requires one year of recent LTC RN experience and a valid state license. Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an RN in a long-term care setting
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Other certifications
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
- Must be able to move about
- Must be able to move equipment (50-100lbs)
- Must be able to push
- Must be able to pull
- Must be able to bend
- Must have the ability to grasp
- Must have the ability to perform fine manipulation
- Must have the ability to push/pull
