Travel Nurse - Nights - Medical Unit

Job Summary
Provide skilled nursing care in a Long Term Care (LTC) facility during a 13-week travel assignment. Responsibilities include developing, updating, and implementing personalized care plans with residents, families, and the care team; supervising LPNs and CNAs; administering treatments including wound care, IV therapy, and catheter management; monitoring residents for changes in condition and taking appropriate action; educating residents and families on medications and conditions; documenting care and resident progress; coordinating with physicians, therapists, and other professionals to ensure coordinated care; and adhering to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards. Must have an active RN license and one year of LTC experience, with ability to read/write/communicate in English and meet physical requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- One year of recent experience as an RN in a long-term care setting
- Experience in LTC setting
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Physically able to perform required duties (e.g., moving equipment, lifting 50-100 lbs)
- Knowledge of wound care, IV therapy, catheter management, and other skilled procedures within scope of practice
- Experience supervising LPNs and CNAs
- Documentation of resident progress and health changes
Desired Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an RN in a long-term care setting
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Other certifications may be required depending on facility requirements
- Read, write, and communicate in English
