Job Summary
Assess resident health, monitor for changes, and implement personalized care plans in collaboration with the patient care team. Provide skilled treatments including wound care, IV therapy, and catheter management while supervising LPNs and CNAs. Educate residents and families on medications and chronic conditions, document progress timely, and respond quickly to emergencies. Adhere to facility safety protocols and infection control guidelines. One year of recent LTC experience required with a valid RN license. 8-week travel assignment in Glendale, California with highly competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an RN in a long-term care setting
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
- Must be able to move about
- Must be able to move equipment (50-100lbs)
- Must be able to push
- Must be able to pull
- Must be able to bend
- Must have the ability to grasp
- Must have the ability to perform fine manipulation
- Must have the ability to push/pull
- Must have the ability to move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment
- Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers
- Must be able to meet deadlines under pressure
- Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally
- Must be able to work without assistance from other personnel
- Must possess visual acuity
- Must be able to effectively communicate
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Must be able to travel
