Job Summary
Assess resident health, monitor for changes, and develop personalized care plans in collaboration with families and the care team. Administer treatments including wound care, IV therapy, and catheter management while supervising LPNs and CNAs. Educate residents and families on medications and chronic conditions, document progress, and respond quickly to emergencies. Adhere to infection control guidelines and regulatory standards. Requires one year of recent RN experience in long-term care, valid state license, and ability to work under pressure. Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- One year of recent experience as an RN in a long-term care setting
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
- Must be able to move about
- Must be able to move equipment (50-100lbs)
- Must be able to push
- Must be able to pull
- Must be able to bend
- Must have the ability to grasp
- Must have the ability to perform fine manipulation
- Must have the ability to push/pull
- Must have the ability to move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment
- Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers while meeting deadlines under pressure
- Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally
- Must be able to work without assistance from other personnel
