Job Summary
Assess resident health, monitor for changes, and develop personalized care plans in collaboration with families and the care team. Provide skilled treatments including wound care, IV therapy, and catheter management while supervising LPNs and CNAs. Educate residents and families on medications and chronic conditions, document progress, and respond quickly to emergencies. Adhere to facility safety protocols and infection control guidelines. Requires one year of recent LTC RN experience, a valid state license, and ability to work nights in Hillsboro, North Dakota for a 13-week assignment.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an RN in a long-term care setting
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Other certifications may be required depending on facility requirements
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), push, pull, and bend
- Must have the ability to grasp, perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment
- Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers while meeting deadlines under pressure
- Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally, as well as working without assistance from other personnel
- Must possess visual acuity and ability to effectively communicate
