Job Summary
RN - NICU travel assignment in Hickory, NC. 13-week contract with 36 hours per week across 13-hour shifts. Coordinate patient care with physicians and the clinical team; prepare patients for diagnostic tests or procedures and provide post-procedure monitoring; support safe transitions of care including handoffs and care plan updates. Start ASAP. Requires 2+ years of nursing experience in NICU/neonatal care. Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of nursing experience (RN) in NICU/Neonatal Intensive Care
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing or appropriate nursing license
- Ability to coordinate patient care with physicians and clinical team members
- Experience with preparing patients for diagnostic tests or procedures and post-procedure monitoring
- Strong understanding of handoffs and care plan updates
- Contract/travel nursing experience is a plus
- Shift flexibility for 13-hour shifts and 36 hours per week
- Positive workflow management and patient safety focus
