Job Summary
Travel Nurse - LVN/LPN/RN needed to provide MAT-focused outpatient care: dispense medications, monitor patient health, collect blood samples, administer injections, perform screenings (PPD, pregnancy tests, TB, drug screens), maintain medication inventories, and ensure compliance with DEA/state guidelines. Requires 1+ year nursing experience, Texas license with no restrictions, and active driver’s license. Travel to various Houston-area clinics (Spring, College Station, Sugar Land, and Houston). Preferred MAT/behavioral health experience and EMR (KIPU) familiarity. Full-time schedule with early-morning hours and rotating weekend coverage. Compensation $31.00-$34.00 per hour plus benefits.
Required Qualifications
- 1-year+ experience as an LVN, LPN, or RN
- Must have a current and valid LVN, LPN, or RN license with no restrictions and licensed within the state of Texas
- Active driver’s license in the state of the assigned clinic
- Experience dispensing, handling, ordering, and stocking medications
- Experience working as an LVN, LPN, or RN in a substance use treatment (preferably MAT) or behavioral health setting preferred
- Experience using KIPU or other EMR
- Knowledge of addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders preferred
- Knowledge of recovery process and terminology preferred
