Travel Nurse - Community Health RN

Job Summary

Perform primary and emergency care for residents from newborns to elders within a nursing station or health center. Utilize observation, assessment, nursing diagnosis, counseling, and health teaching skills to implement care plans based on best practice clinical guidelines. Ensure ongoing emotional, spiritual, physical comfort, and safety for clients while managing IPAC, communicable disease control, and immunizations. This 2–6 week remote assignment covers Northern communities in BC, AB, MB, ON, and Nunavut with a competitive pay rate of $60/hour plus a $22/hour non-taxed Northern Allowance. Bayshore HealthCare provides fully paid travel, orientation training, and 24/7 team support for this role focused on expanding clinical expertise in Indigenous communities.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
  • Nursing license through the governing body in good standing
  • Licensed Nurse registered in good standing
  • Willingness to obtain a nursing license through the regulating body in the provinces or territories you wish to work
  • Required work experience
  • Proof of vaccination against illnesses such as COVID-19, Hepatitis, Seasonal Flu etc.
