Job Summary

Perform primary and emergency care for residents from newborn to elders within a nursing station or health center. Utilize observation, assessment, nursing diagnosis, counseling, and health teaching according to care plans while implementing Best Practice Clinical Practice Guidelines. Manage IPAC and communicable disease control, immunizations, and ensure the emotional, spiritual, physical comfort and safety of clients. This travel nursing assignment offers 2–6 weeks in remote Northern Communities (BC, AB, MB, ON, Nunavut) with competitive pay including a non-taxed Northern allowance.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
  • Nursing license through the governing body in good standing
  • Licensed Nurse registered in good standing
  • Willingness to obtain a nursing license through the regulating body in the provinces or territories you wish to work
  • Required work experience
  • Proof of vaccination against illnesses such as COVID-19, Hepatitis, Seasonal Flu etc.
