Job Summary
Provide primary and emergency care in remote Northern Canadian communities within a nursing station/Health Center; collaborate in a team to deliver expanded scope of practice; perform observation, assessment, nursing diagnosis, counseling and health teaching per care plans; health promotion, immunizations, IPAC and communicable disease control; develop and implement care plans; ensure emotional, spiritual, physical comfort and safety of clients; complete orientation and ongoing professional development; travel assignments with flexible schedules and 24/7 support.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
- Nursing license through the governing body in good standing
- Willingness to obtain nursing license in provinces/territories where you wish to work
- Meets required work experience
