Job Summary
Travel Nurse - Community Health RN opportunity with Bayshore HealthCare in remote northern Canadian communities. 2–6 week assignments providing primary and emergency care in a nursing station/Health Center in clinics across BC, AB, MB, ON, and Nunavut. Responsibilities include expanded scope of practice, observation/assessment/diagnosis, counseling and health teaching, care planning, immunizations, IPAC, and health promotion in collaboration with a team. Requires nursing degree and current license in good standing; eligibility to obtain provincial/territorial licensure; travel-ready with flexible schedules and orientation/training provided. Compensation is provided for travel and includes a Northern Allowance; vaccination requirements may apply per provincial regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
- nursing license through governing body in good standing
- licensed Nurse registered in good standing
- willing to obtain nursing license in provinces/territories intended to work
