Job Summary
Assess, identify nursing diagnoses, and implement care plans for Level IV NICU patients to optimize outcomes and transitions. Advocate for ethical, holistic care by partnering in care planning to promote patient autonomy and dignity. Coordinate the patient's plan of care across the continuum while maintaining currency of essential competencies required by the Nurse Practice Act. Lead and coordinate teams, appropriately delegate tasks, and collaborate with the inter-professional care team to integrate nursing knowledge. Deliver specialized training to foster a learning environment for patients, families, and nursing staff.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Washington Registered Nurse License
- National Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics upon hire
- 1 year Nursing experience
