Job Summary
Travel Neurotechnologist (NT) responsible for real-time neurophysiological monitoring of the nervous system during surgical procedures that pose a risk to neural structures and function. This role is part of the Dedicated Travel Team and requires 100% travel to provide short- and medium-term coverage across multiple markets nationwide. Sets up patients for intraoperative testing and communicates data in real time to the interpreting neurologist and surgical team. Responsibilities include day-to-day monitoring of surgical cases, implementing clinical and operational policies, documenting cases and closing out within 24 hours, participating in weekend/PM call rotation, maintaining credentialing, and traveling to cover cases in other regions as needed. Must have CNIM certification, a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences or similar discipline, and a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation. Travel is a core function with weekly or multi-week deployments and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform operating-room tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences or similar discipline
- Certification in Neurophysiologic Intraoperative Monitoring (CNIM) required
- Clinical competence in intraoperative monitoring
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency with MS Office
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
