Job Summary
Screen patients for MRI safety and contraindications, educate patients on procedures, and administer intravenous injections and contrast media per orders. Operate magnetic resonance imaging scanners to produce high-quality diagnostic images, monitor image quality, and adjust scanning parameters as needed. Maintain and troubleshoot MRI equipment, document procedure details, and collaborate with radiologists to ensure timely delivery of results. Adhere to strict infection control, radiation safety, and hospital safety protocols throughout the assignment.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of a Radiology program of study with specialization and training in MRI
- One years' experience as an MRI Tech
- Valid Radiology/MRI license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
- Critical thinking

- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
