Job Summary

Screen patients for MRI safety and contraindications, educate them on procedures, and start IVs to administer contrast media as needed. Operate MRI scanners to produce diagnostic images, monitor quality during scans, and adjust parameters for optimal results. Maintain and troubleshoot equipment, document all procedure details, and ensure workspace compliance with infection control protocols. Collaborate with radiologists to deliver accurate diagnostic results while adhering to hospital safety rules and radiation safety procedures. This 13-week travel assignment in Douglasville, Georgia, requires a licensed MRI Technologist with one year of experience and current BLS certification.

Required Qualifications

  • Successful completion of a Radiology program of study with specialization and training in MRI
  • One years' experience as an MRI Tech
  • Valid Radiology/MRI license in compliance with state regulations
  • Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
