Job Summary
Operate MRI and related equipment to perform radiologic exams; prepare patients, obtain consent when necessary, translate procedures for patients, maintain documentation, and ensure safety standards. Duties include positioning and immobilization, adjusting equipment for proper exposure, monitoring patient condition, recognizing adverse reactions, entering exam data into logs, and labeling/archiving images per SOPs. Requires graduation from an approved Radiologic Technology program, NY/CT licensure, ARRT registration, and at least 1 year of radiologic-exam experience. Location: Mount Kisco, NY (Westchester); travel/neighborhood coordination as part of the role.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program
- New York State and/or Connecticut Department of Health licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration
- Minimum of one (1) year experience performing radiologic exams
