Job Summary
MedSurg RN provides bedside care to a variety of patients, performs individualized assessments to inform care plans, prepares equipment, assists physicians during examinations and treatments, administers prescribed medications, initiates actions in response to adverse symptoms, changes dressings, and starts IVs as needed. Shift is 3x12 Nights in Gallatin, TN area; RN will perform typical med-surg duties including catheter insertion and IV initiation, with focus on comprehensive patient care and documentation.
Required Qualifications
- RN license or eligibility to practice as a Registered Nurse in Tennessee
- MedSurg nursing experience preferred
- ability to perform bedside care and assessments
- ability to administer medications and document accurately
- competence in IV initiation and catheter insertion
- ability to work nights and adhere to shift schedule (3x12 Nights)
