Provide bedside care for a variety of patients and execute individualized assessments to create tailored plans of care. Prepare equipment and assist physicians during examinations and treatments. Administer, record prescribed medications, and initiate alternative actions when adverse symptomology occurs. Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs as necessary. This 3x12-day shift schedule supports continuous patient coverage in the Birmingham, Alabama MedSurg unit.
