Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' conditions, monitor cardiac telemetry data, and administer prescribed medications in adherence to nursing standards. Explain procedures to patients and families, prepare individuals for diagnostic procedures, and document vital signs, medications, and care outcomes in the medical record. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create individualized care plans, facilitate discharge planning, and ensure infection control practices are strictly followed while managing multiple patients based on acuity. Maintain a safe environment for patients recovering from medical conditions or surgical procedures.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent Med Surg/Tele RN experience
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification
- Critical thinking
- Service excellence
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions
- Ability to follow verbal instructions
- Proficiency in PC skills
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
