Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive medical-surgical and telemetry assessments, monitor cardiac data, administer prescribed medications, and prepare patients for diagnostic procedures. Document vital signs, treatments, and care outcomes in medical records while collaborating with physicians, therapists, and social workers to implement individualized care plans. Manage multiple patients by prioritizing based on acuity, ensuring infection control protocols are strictly followed, and facilitating discharge planning to coordinate transitions to home. Maintain a safe environment for patients recovering from surgical procedures or medical conditions while advocating for their needs and preferences.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent Med Surg/Tele RN experience
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification
- Critical thinking

- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions
- Follow verbal instructions
- Proficiency in PC skills
