Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive assessments, monitor cardiac telemetry data, and administer prescribed medications for patients on medical-surgical and telemetry units. Explain procedures to patients and families, prepare individuals for diagnostic tests, and facilitate discharge planning while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to implement care plans. Document vital signs, treatments, and outcomes in medical records, ensuring strict adherence to infection control protocols and hospital safety standards. Manage multiple patients efficiently based on acuity and clinical needs. This 13-week travel assignment in Beaufort, South Carolina requires one year of recent Med Surg/Tele RN experience and a valid RN license.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent Med Surg/Tele RN experience
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification
- Critical thinking
