Job Summary
Assess patient health conditions, monitor cardiac telemetry data, administer prescribed medications, and conduct comprehensive assessments while documenting changes in the medical record. Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create individualized care plans, and facilitate discharge planning. Manage multiple patients efficiently based on acuity, ensure infection control practices are followed, and advocate for patients' needs and preferences. Maintain a safe environment for patients recovering from medical conditions or surgical procedures.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent Med Surg/Tele RN experience
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification
- Critical thinking
- Service excellence
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions
- Ability to follow verbal instructions
- Proficiency in PC skills
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
- Must be able to move about
- Must be able to move equipment (50-100lbs)
