Travel Med Surg/Telemetry RN

Travel Med Surg/Tele RN delivers comprehensive patient-centered care in medical-surgical and telemetry units. Responsibilities include assessing patient health conditions, monitoring cardiac telemetry data, administering prescribed medications and treatments, conducting comprehensive assessments, preparing patients for diagnostic procedures, assisting physicians during treatments, documenting patient information in the medical record, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement individualized care plans, prioritizing care based on acuity, ensuring infection control practices, advocating for patients' needs, facilitating discharge planning, and adhering to hospital safety and regulatory standards. Requirements emphasize strong clinical skills in med-surg and telemetry nursing, critical thinking, excellent communication, and a commitment to patient safety and professional ethics. Essential skills include critical thinking, English language proficiency, ability to read/write, and PC proficiency. Beneficial certifications include NIHSS and ACLS; other certifications/licenses may be required.
