Travel Med Surg/Telemetry RN

The Med Surg/Tele Registered Nurse delivers comprehensive high-quality, patient-centered care in medical-surgical and telemetry units. This role involves assessing patient health conditions, monitoring cardiac telemetry data, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to manage diverse patient needs. The position requires strong clinical skills in med-surg and telemetry nursing, critical thinking abilities, excellent communication, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and professional ethics. Essential tasks include explaining procedures to patients and families, administering prescribed medications, conducting comprehensive assessments and documentation, preparing patients for diagnostics, assisting physicians, maintaining a safe environment, coordinating discharge planning, and adhering to infection control protocols. Demonstrates ability to read/write English, follow instructions, and operate PC systems; physical and mental requirements include mobility, lifting, teamwork, and the ability to cope with deadlines and varied schedules.
