Job Summary
Travel Med Surg/Tele RN for a 13-week travel assignment at a facility in Baton Rouge, LA. Responsible for delivering comprehensive patient-centered care in medical-surgical and telemetry units, including assessing patients, monitoring cardiac telemetry, administering medications, preparing patients for procedures, documenting in the medical record, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and supporting discharge planning. Requires RN license, BLS, and one year of Med Surg/Tele RN experience. Preferred NIHSS and ACLS certifications. Strong clinical skills in med-surg and telemetry nursing, critical thinking, communication, infection control, and adherence to safety standards. Required Qualifications
- One year of recent Med Surg/Tele RN experience
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification
