Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive assessments, administer medications, and monitor cardiac telemetry data for patients on medical-surgical and telemetry units. Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures, document vital signs and care outcomes, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement individualized care plans. Manage multiple patients by prioritizing based on acuity while ensuring infection control and advocating for patient preferences. Facilitate discharge planning and coordinate with external resources to ensure smooth transitions. Requires one year of recent Med Surg/Tele RN experience, valid RN license, BLS certification, and NIHSS or ACLS as preferred. Located in Kealakekua, Hawaii for a 13-week travel assignment with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent Med Surg/Tele RN experience
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification
- Critical thinking
