Job Summary
Assess patient health conditions, monitor cardiac telemetry data, administer prescribed medications, and conduct comprehensive assessments while documenting changes in the medical record. Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures, assist physicians during treatments, and facilitate discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions from hospital to home. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and therapists, to create individualized care plans and advocate for patient preferences. Maintain infection control practices, manage multiple patients based on acuity, and perform other duties as assigned within the scope of practice.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent Med Surg/Tele RN experience
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification
- Critical thinking
- Service excellence
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions
- Follow verbal instructions
- Proficiency in PC skills
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
