Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' conditions, monitor cardiac telemetry data, and administer prescribed medications in adherence to nursing standards. Explain procedures and treatments to patients and families, prepare patients for diagnostic procedures, and document vital signs, medications, and care outcomes in the medical record. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create individualized care plans, manage multiple patients based on acuity, and facilitate discharge planning. Ensure infection control practices are strictly followed while advocating for patients' needs and preferences. Requires one year of recent Med Surg RN experience, valid RN license, BLS certification, and ability to work under pressure with irregular activity schedules.
