Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive medical-surgical and telemetry patient care, including assessments, medication administration, and diagnostic procedure preparation. Monitor cardiac telemetry data, manage multiple patients by prioritizing based on acuity, and facilitate discharge planning with families and external resources. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement individualized care plans while maintaining strict infection control and safety protocols. Deliver patient-centered care in a Duluth, Minnesota facility during a 13-week travel assignment with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent Med Surg RN experience
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification
- Critical thinking
- Service excellence
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions
- Ability to follow verbal instructions
- Proficiency in PC skills
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
