Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive high-quality, patient-centered care in medical-surgical and telemetry units. Assess patient health conditions, monitor cardiac telemetry data, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to manage diverse patient needs. Explain procedures and treatments to patients and families, administer prescribed medications, and perform detailed assessments while documenting changes in the medical record. Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures, assist physicians during treatments, and facilitate discharge planning with families and external resources. Maintain a safe environment by ensuring infection control practices, including hand hygiene and PPE use, are strictly followed. Manage multiple patients efficiently based on acuity and clinical needs while advocating for patient preferences. Required Qualifications
- One year of recent Med Surg RN experience
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification
- Critical thinking

- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions
- Ability to follow verbal instructions
- Proficiency in PC skills
