Job Summary

Conduct comprehensive medical-surgical and telemetry care by assessing patient conditions, administering medications, and monitoring cardiac data. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and social workers to manage diverse patient needs, prepare individuals for diagnostic procedures, and facilitate discharge planning. Document vital signs, treatments, and care outcomes while maintaining strict infection control protocols and advocating for patient preferences. Manage multiple patients efficiently based on acuity and clinical needs. Requires one year of Med Surg RN experience, valid RN license, BLS certification, and preference for NIHSS or ACLS. Located in Kalispell, Montana for an 8-week travel assignment with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Required Qualifications

  • One year of recent Med Surg RN experience
  • Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
  • Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification
  • The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
  • Ability to read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skills
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), push, pull, and bend
  • Must be able to work effectively with a variety of personnel (professional and ancillary) to present a positive attitude and professionalism
  • Must have the ability to grasp, perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment
  • Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers while meeting deadlines under pressure
  • Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally, as well as working without assistance from other personnel
  • Must be able to contend with irregular activity schedules occasionally and continuous concentration to detail
  • Must possess visual acuity and ability to effectively communicate

Desired Qualifications

  • NIHSS certification
  • ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification
