Travel Med Surg RN

Travel Med Surg RN for a 13-week assignment in Goodyear, AZ. Delivers comprehensive, patient-centered care in medical-surgical and telemetry units, including assessing patient conditions, monitoring cardiac telemetry data, administering prescribed medications, preparing patients for procedures, and collaborating with physicians, physical therapists, social workers, and other team members to develop individualized care plans. Maintains infection control practices, advocates for patients, facilitates discharge planning, and adheres to safety and regulatory standards. Requires critical thinking, strong communication, English literacy, and the ability to manage multiple patients and use electronic medical records; physical abilities to move and position patients and equipment. Preferred NIHSS and ACLS certifications in addition to required BLS. Start date and travel status indicate a temporary assignment with competitive pay and benefits.
