Job Summary
The Med Surg Registered Nurse leads medical-surgical and telemetry patient care on a travel 8-week assignment in Pulaski, TN. Responsibilities include administering medications and treatments, performing comprehensive patient assessments, coordinating with physicians, therapists, and social workers, maintaining infection control practices, documenting in the medical record, and facilitating discharge planning. The role requires strong critical thinking, excellent communication, ability to manage multiple patients, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards. Eligible candidates hold an RN license in the appropriate state and a current BLS certification; NIHSS and ACLS certifications are preferred. Required Qualifications
- One year of recent Med Surg RN experience
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification
- NIHSS certification (preferred)
