Job Summary
Travel Med Surg RN delivers comprehensive, patient-centered care in medical-surgical and telemetry units. Responsibilities include assessing patient health conditions, monitoring cardiac telemetry data, administering prescribed medications, coordinating with physicians, therapists, and social workers to develop individualized care plans, ensuring infection control, preparing patients for procedures, assisting during treatments, documenting care, and facilitating discharge planning. Requires strong clinical nursing skills, critical thinking, excellent communication, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent Med Surg RN experience
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification
