Job Summary
Travel Med Surg RN for a 13-week assignment in a facility in Shreveport, LA. Delivers comprehensive med-surgical and telemetry patient care, assesses conditions, administers medications, documents in medical records, and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to implement individualized care plans. Requires strong clinical skills in med-surg and telemetry nursing, critical thinking, excellent communication, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards. Certifications: RN license, BLS; preferred NIHSS and ACLS. Responsibilities include patient education, discharge planning coordination, infection control, and maintaining high standards of patient safety.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent Med Surg RN experience
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification
