Job Summary
Med Surg RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Terre Haute, Indiana. Delivers comprehensive patient-centered care in medical-surgical and telemetry units. Administers prescribed medications and treatments, conducts comprehensive assessments, prepares patients for procedures, documents patient information, and collaborates with physicians, therapists, and social workers to implement individualized care plans. Maintains infection control practices, advocates for patients, coordinates discharge planning, and adheres to safety and regulatory standards. Requires 1 year of Med Surg RN experience, valid RN license, and BLS; NIHSS and ACLS certifications preferred. Strong clinical skills in med-surg and telemetry nursing, critical thinking, communication, and teamwork are essential.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent Med Surg RN experience
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification
